    We now have a vacancy for a mature individual to work as a full-time permanent Practitioner at our Adult Residential Service, located on a six-acre park-like site in West Auckland.

    Working Sunday to Thursday (40 hours per week), you will work the following rostered shifts: 


    Sunday 7:45am to 3:45pm

    Monday 7:45am to 3:45pm

    Tuesday 10am to 6:pm

    Wednesday 2:15pm to 10:15pm

    Thursday 10am to 2:15pm


    Working closely with the Clinical Manager and other members of the Adult Services team, you will be responsible for providing clinical treatment and support in partnership with tāngata whaiora (people seeking wellness) as part of a multi-disciplinary team.


    Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Up to 1 years’ clinical experience working in partnership with clients/ tāngata whaiora (clients seeking wellness) in a social services, health, addictions, or mental health care setting
  • A relevant tertiary qualification e.g. Bachelor of Health Science, OT, Psychology, Social Work or post graduate diploma/certificate in AOD
  • Registration or a willingness to work towards registration with DAPAANZ or another relevant professional body (with organisational support)
  • Ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • A willingness to embrace the Therapeutic Community (TC) method of treatment
  • An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Māori tikanga and Pacific culture and customs
  • A full NZ driver’s license
