ElectriNET, based in Gisborne is recruiting for a Plumber - Drainlayer.ResponsibilitiesProvide general plumbing and drain laying services to ensure all planned installation work, fault work and maintenance work is carried out in an efficient and safe manner as requested or directed by the plumbing supervisor or Building Services manager.Provide plumbing and drain laying services relating to installations, maintenance and repairs of plumbing, drain laying and water systems.Enthusiastically carry out all works in a professional and tradesman-like manner to a level of quality that meets current accepted industry standards.This role involves working unsupervised, or as part of a team, to deliver high quality plumbing and drain laying services.Qualifications and experienceMust have completed a four-year apprenticeship and completed a National Certificate in Plumbing and Drain LayingCertifying licence is beneficial but not essentialHolds a current NZ registration and licence as a Plumber/Drainlayer in accordance with the requirements of the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayer's BoardMust maintain qualification registration requirementCurrent unrestricted Manual NZ Driver LicenceWTR license endorsement would be beneficialMinimum of 5 years proven experience associated with the installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of plumbing and drain laying.Knowledge of plumbing and drain laying materials and methodsAbility to interpret designs, plans and instructionsSoldering and welding skills advantageousSome knowledge of electrical systems advantageousKnowledge of Health and Safety compliance requirementsWorks well in a team environment – a strong team playerBe prepared to work as part of the rostered call out teamAbility to work at heights and in confined spacesAbility to lift, carry and push heavy objectsLocation and benefitsPermanent, full time rolePaid Birthday LeaveLife and Critical Illness coverCompany VehicleApplication and eligibilityApplicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.Applications close on Friday, 17 October ****
