As a Platform Engineer, you'll help deliver 'super simple' experiences for Kiwibank customers and frontline staff.
You'll be responsible for delivering, maintaining and improving core infrastructure platforms that support our Digital & Technology teams.

You stay up to date with emerging technologies and bring fresh thinking to how we manage and evolve our platform ecosystem.

Where your expertise matters.
Key skills and experience we're looking for:
5+ years of experience as a Systems or Platform Engineer, ideally in enterprise scale environments.
Strong knowledge of modern endpoint management and virtual desktop infrastructure, including Windows 11 and Windows Server operating systems, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365 (W365), Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
Proficiency with core infrastructure tools and services, including Active Directory, Group Policy Management, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services, Entra ID (Azure AD) and Conditional Access (CA) policies, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
Proven ability to work collaboratively in Agile and/or DevOps teams, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Experience supporting production systems, including incident response and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with capacity planning, performance tuning, and security hardening.
Comfortable working with documentation, change control processes, and maintaining institutional knowledge.
Bonus:
Comfortable writing and maintaining scripts in PowerShell
Experience using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g. Terraform)
Experience with Zscaler ZIA and ZPA
