Urgent! Plastics Technician Job Opening In Auckland – Now Hiring Polymer Processing Nz Ltd
Polymer Processing is a manufacturer of quality recycled resins.
This position is a full time permanent role with a minimum of 40 hours per week and maximum number of 60 hours per week.
Main duties
Carry out scheduled preventative checks and maintenance on plastics manufacturing machinery
Identify, diagnose, and repair potential issues before breakdowns occur.
Respond when breakdowns occur.
Troubleshoot machines
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.
Support production by responding to urgent maintenance needs when required.
Assist in developing and improving preventative maintenance programs.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
At least two years of relevant experience
Hands-on maintenance experience within manufacturing plant
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
A proactive and safety-first mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
