Our Strategy & Investment team plays a vital role in shaping our Te Whatu Ora strategies for Data and Digital.

We work closely with our partners to create and maintain our strategy and roadmaps, ensuring that our priorities are met, and the vision comes to life.

Our focus is on providing leadership, managing services, and overseeing architecture to align with our strategic goals.

Additionally, we're excited to lead Strategic Partnership Management.

This involves fostering partnerships with industry providers, managing relationships with national partners like Microsoft, AWS, and Spark, and handling Data and Digital Contract Management alongside Procurement.

Our team develops and maintains frameworks, agreements, and roadmaps to keep everything running smoothly.

Mōu | About you

As our Planning & Reporting Analyst, you will be a key collaborator between our data and digital teams, working hand-in-hand to create and share insightful reports that highlight our digital strategy's progress.

You'll help shape the way we do things, making sure our processes are strong and effective.

Building strong partnerships across our data and digital teams is a big part of this role.

You'll play a crucial role in making our reporting efficient and helpful by fostering great working relationships and your work will involve crafting integrated reports that showcase how we're hitting our targets in line with our data and digital strategy.

Your expertise will ensure that our reports are clear, concise, and adaptable for various audiences and purposes.

Contribution-wise, you'll be a go-to person for advice on reporting processes, ensuring that we're able to create information that's easy to understand and can be used across different situations.

You'll also support our planning efforts by providing input and capturing important roadmaps and artifacts.

Ultimately, you'll make sure our reporting processes take complex information and transform it into formats that are concise and user-friendly.

Your role is vital in helping everyone understand the great work we're doing!

Preference will be given to applications of significantly affected Kaimahi through the change process.

  • Has proven experience in contributing to strategic planning and reporting processes.
  • Experience in applying critical thinking and using sound judgement to develop options and provide advice.

    Drawing on relevant experience specific to the job and work demands, acquired over time – minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • Demonstrates well-developed analytical and technical skills, including the ability to collect, assimilate, and summarise raw data in a systematic way to build a useful dataset for analysis.
  • Experience in using analytical tools and proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Previous responsibility at a leadership level for developing, maintaining, and influencing relationships and partnerships across sectors and organisations including with Māori and Pacific Peoples and groups.

    Experience putting into practice the expectations outlined in Te Tiriti o Waitangi in their position.
