Our Patient Services department is looking for a Phlebotomist for a permanent, part-time role.
This role is 40 hours per fortnight working across all collection centres including Nelson Hospital, hospital ward rounds and our Domiciliary service.
The right candidate will be available between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday for any given rostered shift.

To succeed in this role you will need:
A positive and friendly approach to your work.
Compassion for others, including a real desire to provide high-quality care to a wide variety of patients of all ages and circumstances.
Excellent customer service skills including a high level of personal presentation.
Strong attention to detail and an ability to follow processes accurately, even when under pressure.
Respect for always ensuring patient confidentiality and in all matters.
Diploma in Applied Science, or a Bachelor of Science would be an advantage, but not essential.
To either hold or work towards registration with the Medical Science Council of New Zealand and hold an Annual Practising Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Pre-Analytical Technician.
A clean New Zealand Driver's Licence.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
