Seeking NZ registered Pharmacists who want the right balance of work & living in a region known for its sunshine hours! Make a difference with pharmacy services for patients & their whanau, with regards to hospital discharge plans, improving health literacy, medicine management & education, and monitoring long-term conditions.

What you can expect:

  • Core working hours - on a rotational roster
  • Clinical consults with other clinicians (MDT) - you won't be alone
  • Governance clinical supervision provided from a Lead Pharmacist
  • Flexible working environment
  • Free parking - nice to have designated parking

What you bring:

  • NZ registered Pharmacist with APC, no conditions or restrictions
  • BPharm or equivalent qualification
  • International candidates MUST have the ability to gain NZ registration and passed their COAP exam.
  • Good progression.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Computer literacy skills and attention to details, with accurate numeracy skills,

What you will do:

  • Provide clinical & pharmaceutical advice & education to patients, and clinical staff
  • Keep accurate & timely records for all patients under your care
  • Effectively manage by actively participating in stock monitoring and rotation
  • Support medication safety initiatives across the hospital.
