About the role




Join our team as a Payroll Administrator on a 12-month fixed term basis and play a key role in delivering accurate and efficient payroll across Skyline’s New Zealand businesses.

In this part-time role, you’ll be the link between our payroll team and operational leaders, ensuring payroll processes are timely, compliant and aligned with business needs.





Key responsibilities include:

· Coordinating weekly payroll across all Skyline New Zealand businesses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.


· Serving as the key point of contact between the finance team and operational leaders, managing payroll queries, leave processes, and time and attendance data.


· Maintaining payroll systems and ensuring data integrity through accurate data collection, reporting and system management.


· Driving continuous improvement by supporting to streamline payroll workflows, minimise errors and support efficient, reliable payroll processing.


What you’ll bring:


· Exposure to payroll processes in a medium to large organisation, with knowledge of payroll systems, employment agreements, and relevant legislation.


· Strong technical skills, including proficiency in payroll software, spreadsheets, and other Microsoft applications.


· High level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.


· Ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines, working independently or as part of a team.


· Effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
