Medeor Payments is an embedded payments company providing services to healthcare software companies and providers across New Zealand and Australia.
Our goal is to help practitioners practice by solving high value problems in partner software, leveraging all aspects of the payments cycle.

What you will do and the environment you will work in are described in the responsibilities and qualifications sections below, which reflect the role within Medeor and its collaboration with partner software companies, terminal partners and merchants.
Responsibilities
- Manage the onboarding of new Merchants in a formal, regulated environment, working with third party providers and liaising directly with the Merchant as required
- Orchestrating the implementation of Medeor services, once the Merchant has been onboarded, working with partner software companies, terminal partners and Merchants
- Monitoring payment transaction processing, managing any exceptions as required (under the oversight of Manager, Payment Operations), in order to monitor and mitigate risk
- Maintaining the Merchant Management process and database in accordance with Medeor policies, ensuring it is always accurate
- Liasing with L1 Customer Care teams in partner software companies
- Managing robust payment operations – ensuring that all batch processing is under effective operational control
- Facilitate resolution of problems with payments partners, and improve processes as a result to drive continuous improvement
- When required, work closely with Compliance Manager to manage day-to-day flow of payments, and manage and mitigate risk
- Overseeing the production and delivery of Customer Reports and Extracts
- Maintain good working relationships with participants of the payments supply chain vendors
- Following policies and procedures; completing tasks correctly and on time; supporting the company’s goals and values
- Ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
- Participating in Internal and External audits
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve the payments operations processes
