Tairawhiti Hospital - Gisborne Full Time - 40 hours per week Monday to FridayPermanentHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.
About the Role
As a Patient Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting patients and whanau to access vital medical care outside the Tairāwhiti region.

You will ensure each patient receives their entitled services as outlined in the National Travel Assistance (NTA) policy

Our team is an integral part of the pathway assisting patients to attend out of region medical appointments and procedures.
We work in a fast paced and rewarding environment where our patients are our key focus every day.
Our office is located at Gisborne Hospital.

About you
As a Patient Transport Coordinator, you will bring the following skills;
Proven administrative experience three years or moreProven experience with all Microsoft Office suite applicationsHave a high level of written & oral communication skills Excellent time management and ability to prioritise your workBe able to remain calm in stressful situationsWorking at Health New Zealand
