Here at Griffin's Snacks, we're proud of our heritage and being New Zealand's largest snack food company, producing many iconic kiwi brands, including Griffin's, Huntley and Palmers, ETA and Nice & Natural.We're looking for a Part Time Merchandiser working a guaranteed 7.5 hours per week (with the opportunity to pick up additional hours in a range of areas including sampling, relays, covering leave and peak season support) at four stores in Christchurch.Reporting to the Territory Manager, the successful candidates will be a brand ambassador in stores and will play a key role within our Sales team – ensuring that our much-loved products are looking amazing on shelf and are in easy reach, so our customers can purchase and enjoy their favourite snacks all year round!
Locations and hours: Ashburton - New World & Woolworths (Total: 7.5 hours per week)Monday: 4:00pm - 5:00pm @ New World AshburtonWednesday: 4:00pm - 5:00pm @ New World AshburtonFriday: 4:00pm - 5:00pm @ New World AshburtonSunday: 6:00pm - 7:00pm @ Woolworths Ashburton, then 7:05pm - 9:30pm @ New World Ashburton, then 9:35pm - 10:35pm @ Woolworths South AshburtonWhat you'll be responsible forUnloading pallets and restocking shelves (lifting boxes up to 20 kg and working at heights)Checking pricing and best before dates, rotating and moving stock as neededFollowing plans/planograms to ensure all product is laid out as per guidelinesBuilding promotional displaysCreating strong working relationships in storeProviding feedback from a store level and sharing new ideas with your leaderWhat you'll bring to the rolePrevious merchandising experience isn't required but would be an extra tickYour own car and full driver's license (that will allow you to legally drive at the times needed to get to/from your shifts)Accountability, honesty and reliability - if you say you will be there you'll be there and can be trusted to work autonomouslyExcellent communication and relationship building skillsAttention to detail – you like to get things right the first time and always double check your workWillingness to roll up your sleeves and make it happenPassion and interest in our company and products – you've been known to enjoy a good snackPositivity and a solutions-focused approach – nothing is ever a problemIf you think you tick a few boxes and are passionate about our brands, purpose and values, we'd love to hear from you.What can you expect in return?
