Parking Attendant in Wellington - Part time

About the role:
We are looking for a Part time Parking Attendant based at Wellington Airport.

This isn’t your usual 9 to 5 office job – you could be directing the flow of traffic through the airport, monitoring CCTV and assisting customers at Parking Services, or greeting customers in Valet when they drop their vehicles off.

The role is permanent 22.5 hours per week.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - 6pm-1:30am
Pay rate is $24.42 per hour

We are looking for someone with:

*Excellent customer service skills + experience
*Good communication skills
*Excellent work ethic
*The ability to work unsupervised
*Full drivers licence
*General computer skills

Duties include:

Parking Services Kiosk
Providing customer service, including assistance with parking inquiries (ticket processing, booking queries, providing directions and processing payments)
Responding to intercom/ phone calls directed to the Parking Services kiosk
Monitoring and investigating queries via CCTV
Logging escalations with airport operations where necessary

Forecourt
Providing assistance with customer queries (where to find areas of the airport i.e. bus stops, locate carparks, locate taxi/ ride share pick up areas)
Directing vehicle & pedestrian traffic within the airport precinct as required
Maintaining and repairing parking hardware (barriers / columns / pay machines)
Logging jobs with external contractors/ escalate where necessary
Logging escalations with airport operations where neccessary
