About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an Organisational Development (OD), Adviser.

We're a tight, collaborative OD team focused on lifting capability, inclusion and engagement across the University.
In this Adviser role you'll keep the wheels moving: support, implement and develop OD programmes within our frameworks, co-facilitate workshops, keep our LMS tidy and useful, and use feedback and data to make each round better than the last.
You'll work alongside Senior OD Advisers, the OD Administrator and partners across the University to embed kaupapa Maori and equity-m minded practice in everything we do.
We are looking to appoint into the salary range between $79,220 - $85,000 per annum.
Key responsibilities
Support, implement and develop OD programmes within established frameworks, and co-facilitate delivery (e.g., induction, Manager Essentials, core capability pathways).
Curate/build e-learning and maintain accurate learning records in the LMS.
Support employee engagement, capability and progression initiatives.
Contribute to refreshed EDI, equitable remuneration and complaints frameworks.
Run surveys/pulse tools, collate insights and report on outcomes.
Provide change delivery support and help run the change community sessions.
Fulfil Health, Safety and Wellbeing obligations and keep required training current.

To be successful in this role you will bring:
A relevant qualification or 2+ years' experience in L&D, learning design, OD or HR.
Demonstrated experience applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice and delivering in culturally safe, equity-minded ways.
Confident group facilitation (introductory to intermediate), with strong coordination and basic project management.
Comfort with data-informed decisions; able to gather feedback and support simple analysis.
Proven experience building learning content in an LMS and maintaining accurate learning records.
Clear communicator who builds relationships across diverse groups; exposure to senior leaders is an advantage.
