My client, a busy scaffolding business in Wellington, are looking for an Ops Supervisor to take charge of day-to-day operations and keep things running smoothly for their busy team.
You’ll be organising a crew of around 40 people across a mix of residential, industrial, and civil projects, making sure work is planned well, delivered safely, and completed to a high standard.
There’s a strong pipeline of work ahead, so it’s a stable role with plenty of variety.
About the Role
You’ll be the go-to person between the crews on site, the yard, and management.
Working alongside an Operations Manager, your job will be to plan yard logistics, inspect/audit multiple sites each week coordinating with inspectors, check permits and ensure your teams are fully up to date with their compliance training, assist with re-design work and keep everyone on the same page.
You’ll spend time out on sites checking progress, keeping health and safety front of mind, and building good relationships with clients to make sure they’re happy with how things are going.

What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone with solid NZ based scaffolding experience (around 7–10 years on the tools) and ideally 1–2 years in a supervisor role, or a strong leading hand ready to step up.
You’ll need to be organised, confident planning ahead, and able to manage people and priorities in a busy environment.
You’ll be the kind of person who can be trusted to run things day to day, keeping the crews motivated, the clients happy, and site safety a top priority.
