OverviewWe're looking for a driven and experienced Operations Manager – Optical to lead our New Zealand Fit Centre at the Henderson Laboratory.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee daily operations, elevate team performance, and ensure exceptional service delivery to our customers.
If you're passionate about operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and building high-performing teams, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience Leadership - Ensure lab operations consistently meet service and quality KPIs, delivering an outstanding customer experience.Customer Satisfaction - Lead the resolution of customer complaints through root cause analysis and implementation of effective corrective actions.Operational Efficiency - Monitor and manage Unit Manufacturing Costs (UMC), keeping operations within budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Continuous Improvement - Drive initiatives to enhance production processes, systems, and infrastructure for long-term efficiency and scalability.Team Culture & Engagement - Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and pride in service delivery, promoting high performance and collaboration.People Development - Support recruitment, onboarding, and training to build a skilled, engaged, and motivated team.Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with the commercial team to ensure seamless business execution and alignment with commercial goals.Ownership & Accountability - Champion a culture of responsibility across Operations and Customer Service, with a strong focus on delivering excellenceAbout YouYou're a confident, hands-on leader with a passion for driving results and empowering teams.
