Our Operations Advisers are part of a team who are responsible for providing electronic monitoring services 24/7 to 6,000 defendants and offenders in New Zealand, using contact centre platforms and GPS technology.
The environment is fast paced, and energetic and our tight-knit teams are busy, focused and committed to keeping the community safe.

In this role, no two days are the same.

To be successful in this role you will have:
* Experience communicating over the phone/email with people from different backgrounds
* Great critical thinking, and problem solving with sound judgement
* Strong computer literacy skills and the ability to multi-task
* Resilience when dealing with challenging situations
* Openness to change, with a ‘can do' attitude
* High integrity and professionalism
* An ability to work from home if/when required for business continuity purposes

Ngā painga | The benefits
The midpoint of the salary range is $74,902 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $68,345 - $80,238 per annum.

Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.

Those new to the role will begin on the starting salary of $68,345.
* In addition to your salary, you will receive a shift allowance of $2,000 per annum
* You will receive a paid 30-minute lunch break, where in other organisations your lunch breaks are unpaid
* You could have better work-life balance! Each week your total working hours can differ; ranging from 28.5 to 47.5-hours, however, you will always be paid for 40-hours (see the roster attached to this advert)
* You will get 4-weeks annual leave entitlement and 5-weeks after a year's employment
* Due to the shift work aspect of this role, you end up with approximately 160 days off a year - where other organisations offer 104-days off a year
* You will receive an extensive 6-weeks upfront multi-media training, which includes live work simulations, reflection sessions, knowledge assessments, and an opportunity to do live work whilst being supported
* You can expect a sense of satisfaction that comes from making an important contribution towards managing the people in our care and keeping our community safe.
