About the Role

Bring your occupational therapy skills to a role that truly makes a difference.

You'll travel within the Whangārei region to support clients in their homes or workplaces, guiding them through recovery, rehabilitation, and the journey back to independence.

You'll assess functional capacity, deliver tailored interventions, and collaborate closely with whānau, employers, and referrers.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct community-based OT and workplace assessments.
  • Support clients post-injury or illness through their return-to-work journey.
  • Deliver education, training, and rehabilitation programs to promote independence.
  • Collaborate with whānau, employers, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Manage your caseload with confidence and autonomy while contributing to a close-knit team.

Salary & Benefits

  • $80-107K, depending on experience
  • Quarterly bonus scheme
  • $250 wellbeing allowance + birthday leave
  • Flexible Monday-Friday hours (full-time)

Skills & Experience

  • Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand and hold a current APC
  • Solid understanding of ACC contracts and rehabilitation services
  • Confidence working autonomously across community settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for vocational rehabilitation and empowering clients to live independently
  • Current full NZ driver's licence and reliable transport
