Students from around the world enjoy a high-quality English language experience and an unforgettable life experience when they choose an English New Zealand school.To learn more about us, please visit: , , , the Role:We are looking for passionate and student-centred NZCEL Teachers to deliver our NZCEL Level 4 and/or Level 5 (Academic) programmes.
NZCEL is the New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Academic), in which learners study for 17 weeks and do practical study and assessments to improve their Academic English.
With the Certificate, learners can study at higher tertiary levels without IELTS.We are recruiting multiple positions for these roles both in full-time permanent and fixed term contract options.If you thrive on creating engaging, communicative, real-world learning experiences and want to work in a supportive, culturally diverse environment, we'd love to hear from you!
As an NZCEL Teacher at Seafield, you will:• Plan and deliver high-quality NZCEL classes using innovative and effective teaching methods.
• Support students with academic development and real-world skills to boost their study outcomes and employability.
• Prepare and mark assessments, provide timely feedback, and keep accurate records in line with our policies.
• Collaborate with the Academic Director, Programme Leader and your colleagues to continuously review and improve course content and delivery.
• Contribute to internal and external moderation, course development, and promotional activities.
• Uphold our values of Creativity, Achievement, Respect and Empowerment, and support our Te Ao Maori and Pasifika strategy.What You'll Bring:• Certificate or Diploma in English Language Teaching (CELTA, DELTA, TESOL or equivalent preferred)• Masters degree or higher is necessary for teaching Level 5.• Proven experience teaching NZCEL, IELTS, and/or academic English• Unit Standard **** or assessment moderation experience• Course design and development experience• High level proficiency using the Microsoft suite: Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint• Culturally responsive, student-centred approachWhy Join Us?
