We are seeking an experienced people leader with sound manufacturing knowledge and understanding of the processes within a frame and truss manufacturing environment.About the roleReporting to the Production Manager, you will lead a production team of manufacturing operators and carpenters, ensuring production targets are met; safety and quality is adhered to while training and developing your team.Key responsibilities of the role are as follows:Lead the team to deliver products to customer expectations and requirementsLead a team of between 6 and 10 team membersManage your team of employees, temps and contractors to deliver performance expectationsWork cooperatively with the manufacturing leadership team to deliver quality product and serviceEnsure appropriate training and development of staffEnsure systems are in place to minimise wasteEnsure customer delivery dates are metEnsure a culture of continuous improvementAbout youYou will be highly motivated and have a passion for developing a high-performance culture to meet business objectives while possessing the following skills and experience:Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role in a multi shift environment.Strong technical and tactical experience and comprehensive understanding of small team leadership within the building/frame and truss manufacturing environmentStrong problem-solving skills with regard to technical queries and the ability to confidently provide solutions or remedial actions for your teamStrong interpersonal skillsConfidence in computer controlled operating environmentWhat we offerIn return, we'll make sure you're looked after in a professional, positive, inclusive and supportive working environment that you can be proud of.
