About the role
The Multi-Skilled Operator plays a key role in supporting safe, reliable, and efficient operations across Holcim's Onehunga site, contributing to the supply and distribution of cementitious products in both bulk and packaged formats.
This role is responsible for undertaking a range of operational activities across four key areas: import shipment discharge, terminal operations, bulk cement bagging and unbagging, and plant (mill shed) operations.
Working as part of a collaborative team, the Multi-Skilled Operator ensures product quality, accuracy in loading and dispatch, and compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
The position also supports continuous improvement by maintaining equipment to a high standard, identifying opportunities for efficiency, and ensuring operational readiness to meet customer and supply chain demands.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is a dedicated team member who will role up their sleeves and be hands on with any task given and be a real team player.
● National Certificate of Educational Achievement Skills and work experience
● Proven experience operating forklifts and front-end loaders in an industrial or logistics environment.
● Strong stock control and inventory management experience within warehouse or depot operations.
● Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with operational or stock management systems (e.g. SAP).
● Experience in Ball Mill operations, including process monitoring and equipment handling, is advantageous.
● Car (Class One) License
● F Endorsement
● Prepared to travel as and when required to meet the needs of the business
