We are looking for the Merchandiser who is responsible for ensuring that products are properly displayed, stocked, and presented in retail environments to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.Job Description;
Plan, develop, and execute high-impact merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and drive sales across multiple retail locations.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to make data-driven decisions on product placement and stock levels.
Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure rapid replenishment of fast-moving items to avoid lost sales and overstock situations.
Enforce strict compliance with brand guidelines, planograms, and visual merchandising standards across all displays.
Conduct frequent audits to ensure accuracy in pricing, promotions, and product labeling; resolve discrepancies swiftly.
Coordinate with supply chain, warehouse, and store teams to streamline inventory flow and reduce inefficiencies.
Lead high-pressure product launches and seasonal campaigns, ensuring timely setup and visual excellence under tight deadlines.
Manage vendor and supplier relationships to secure promotional support, negotiate better terms, and optimize merchandising opportunities.
Identify underperforming SKUs and implement corrective strategies including repositioning, bundling, or markdowns.
Deliver detailed performance reports to senior management with actionable insights and improvement plans.
Train in-store staff on merchandising best practices and enforce operational discipline in execution.
Travel frequently between store locations; adapt quickly to changing environments and unexpected challenges.
Requirements;
3+ years of proven experience in retail merchandising, preferably in a fast-paced or multi-store environment or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
Strong background in inventory management, sales analysis, and retail operations.
Experience with planograms, visual merchandising standards, and promotional execution.
Additional certifications in merchandising, retail planning, or visual display (a plus).
Ability to stand, lift, and move products or display units as needed.
Flexible work hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
