**The role**



We currently have great opportunities for enthusiastic Mechanical Engineers (Intermediate and Senior) to join our APAC Water Infrastructure team.

Working as part of our broader Water & Environment team, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experienced engineers and scientists to deliver complex water infrastructure projects.

You will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient mechanical engineering design and planning services for the Water Infrastructure team, for wide range of private and government sector clients across APAC.



In this role you will be able to



+ Undertake mechanical engineering design and review for a wide range of water infrastructure projects, including the production of conceptual designs, design development and detailed designs for assets including pumping stations and water/wastewater treatment plants.



+ Maintain and foster technical quality of mechanical engineering deliverables on water infrastructure projects across the Asia Pacific Region.

+ Lead project teams, ensuring high quality deliverables and budgets are met in a timely manner

+ Provision of specialist design, planning and reporting expertise within a multi-disciplinary office

+ Build and maintain client relationships through effective business development

**About you**



To be successful you will display



+ Degree in Mechanical Engineering

+ Demonstrated experience working on a variety of mechanical engineering related projects (preferably in water infrastructure) _(Intermediate Role - 3 to 6 years’ experience and Senior Role minimum of 10+ years’ experience)_

+ Ideally you will have experience within a consulting environment within APAC.



+ Ability to create strong client relationships

+ Excellent communication skills to liaise with the team, senior management and external stakeholders to produce commercial, client focused outcomes

+ Strong technical report writing skills

+ A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to get involved and lead others, whilst contributing to a vibrant team

+ A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development
