You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary group working on impactful water and wastewater projects across the region.

In these roles, you will: * Take ownership of engineering tasks that grow in scope and complexity, with support and guidance from senior team members* Contribute to analysis, design work, tenders, and proposals* Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, geotechnical, etc.)* Delegate, supervise, and mentor junior mechanical engineers* Work actively towards professional certification or registration* Help prepare documentation, ensuring accuracy and meeting quality standards* Build your understanding of business operations, including budgets and revenue* Develop your communication, presentation, networking, and consulting skillsWe’re looking for engineers with excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder relationship skills—those who are passionate about making a difference and thrive in a collaborative environment.

**Ko wai koe | About you** You’re a motivated engineer with a passion for water infrastructure and a collaborative mindset.

You’re keen to grow your technical skills and contribute to meaningful projects that make a difference.You’ll bring: * A degree in mechanical engineering* Over 5 years’ experience in a consulting or utility environment, particularly in pipeline, hydraulics, pump station, wastewater or water treatment plant designs* Experience with 3D Design Modelling packages (AutoCAD, Inventor, and Plant 3D) — a real advantage* Chartered status (preferred), or be actively working towards chartership* A natural ability to build strong networks both within and outside the organisation**Our Water Business** At Beca, our multi-disciplinary Water team works across water, wastewater, stormwater, surface waters, and irrigation.
