Takanini School has been successfully selected to participate in the Ministry of Education’s new Maths Acceleration Programme (MAP) , designed to lift achievement in mathematics for students in Y0–6.
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to lead the delivery of this 12-week targeted programme , supporting students who require additional learning acceleration to access year-level mathematical content.
The successful applicant will:
This is a fixed-term, part time (0.7 FTTE) position for 2026 , with the option of going full-time (1.0 FTTE) .
The role includes Ministry-funded PLD and network support.
The successful teacher will hold a full NZ teacher registration.
