Location: Hutt Hospital
Contract: Fixed term role 0.6, split role, 0.4fte Maternity Assessment Unit, 0.2 Maternity ward

About the Role
We are looking for and experienced midwife or nurse to join our team on a fixed term contract covering Parental leave.


Maternity Assessment Unit is a space that covers a variety of maternity cares, including assessments, monitoring of pregnancy complications and assisting with secondary care clinics.
This is a split role that also involves working on the maternity inpatient service, providing antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care.


About the Team/Service Location
Hutt Maternity is a patient focused service providing personalised, excellence focussed care to pregnant people.

On average five babies are born in the Hutt Valley every day and we provide primary and secondary maternity care for about 1800 pregnant people a year in the Hutt Valley.
Our midwifery unit functions much like an extended family, with work-life balance being extremely important to all of our staff.

We are committed to providing a competitive schedule that most private and public organisations are unable to offer.

This role is based at Hutt Hospital.
About you
Current annual practicing certificate
