Join Te Whatu Ora at a key time of change where you will meaningfully contribute to our kaupapa of creating a more equitable, accessible, cohesive and people-centred health system.

This is mahi that will improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Our Digital Enterprise Services team leads the way in merging our ICT infrastructure, reducing duplication to simplify our operations, making things smoother to handle and maintain.

We're all about striving for excellence!

Our team plays a crucial role in building a strong digital foundation and ensuring operational success.

We're the driving force behind our organisation's modern infrastructure, adapting to evolving technology while ensuring stability, scalability, and modernisation.

Our focus is not just on technology but also on delivering top-notch service.

We've got a lot on our plate! From overseeing the national ITSM and Service Desk functions to managing workspace tools, core infrastructure, integration platforms, and more, we've got you covered.

We're here to build upon our rich history and legacy, ushering in the future with contemporary platforms that seamlessly transition us from the old ways to the new.

Mōu | About you

As our Manager Digital Platforms Delivery, you will take the helm of our team's leadership responsibilities in two crucial areas: People and Digital Platform Delivery.

Leading our highly skilled technical team in Digital Enterprise Services during complex service transitions is a major task.

As we shift from legacy methods to modern ways of working, your role becomes pivotal in guiding our team through this transformation.

You'll empower our team members to embrace new approaches, expand their career horizons from projects to broad programs, transition from waterfall to agile methodologies, and shift from capital funding to operational expenditure and continuous delivery.

Your support is essential in making this transition a success with their full engagement.

Driving strategic investment decisions, timing, commitments, and execution across our digital technologies is another crucial aspect of your role.

Overcoming barriers and challenges to ensure we make the right choices at the right time is paramount.

Simultaneously, you'll lead the charge in implementing modern delivery methods, breaking down any obstacles that stand in our way.

Your goal is to steer our programs, projects, investments, and initiatives towards doing what's right, rather than sticking to old habits.

Your leadership in Digital Platform Delivery, encompassing people, processes, and platforms, is a linchpin in our success.

By streamlining our complex environment through standardised methods and processes, you'll help unlock valuable resources and accelerate our delivery capabilities, be it capital, operational expenditure, or workforce.

Moreover, your role fosters a culture of connectivity and continuous improvement for our systems and services.

Ensuring availability aligns with service levels and customer expectations is a priority.

You'll also play a crucial part in shaping Planning & Delivery outcomes within our overall Data & Digital strategy, representing your domain as a driving force at our Digital Enterprise Services leadership table.

Preference will be given to applications of significantly affected Kaimahi through the change process.
