Management Accountant Job Opening In Halswell – Now Hiring Lincoln University

Partner with a collaborative team to deliver financial insights, planning, and support that drive performance across the University.

Join a supportive and forward-thinking Finance Team where your expertise will help shape financial planning, reporting, and compliance.


You'll work closely with business units, building trusted relationships and delivering meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.

Some tasks of the role include:


  • Managing budgets and forecasts across allocated portfolios
  • Reviewing monthly profit and loss performance
  • Supporting research grant audits and funding allocations
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with annual audits and reporting
  • Supporting capital expenditure and insurance processes

  • Permanent role, 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE) at our Lincoln Campus.

    Salary: $90,000+ per annum, depending on experience.

    You will have:


  • A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, or a related field
  • CA or CPA certification with at least five years' commercial experience
  • Advanced Excel and ERP system skills
  • Strong financial reporting and analysis experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven communication and stakeholder engagement skills
