Literacy across the curriculum coordinator - middle leadershipFull time, PermanentSecondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacherEnglish, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts1MUWe are seeking a dynamic and inspirational teacher to lead literacy across the curriculum (LATC) at Napier Boys' High School.The role requires excellent organisation and planning skills, expert curriculum knowledge, plus the ability to engage, motivate and develop students and staff.
This position could be a next step for a strong teacher who thrives on communication and networking, and who is wanting to take on their next career challenge.Passion, experience and knowledge in successful literacy strategies is a must.
Experience in teaching senior English to at least Y12 is a requirement.
Applicants are also expected to be familiar with the literacy challenges faced by other subjects.
