lines but also takes pride in doing things properly, safely, and with a strong

The Work You’ll Own:
This isn’t just a patch job.
You’ll be out in the field
making real, lasting contributions to the power network.
From the installation
and replacement of poles and overhead conductors, to maintaining and
overhauling hardware up to 110kV, you’ll be trusted to get the job done safely,
efficiently, and to the highest standards.
You’ll also operate ground and structure mounted equipment
up to 33kV and develop clear, practical work plans that keep everything moving even when the weather doesn’t cooperate.
More Than the Tools You’re the Backbone of the Crew:
Yes, you’ll be on the tools but you’ll also be the steady
hand your team relies on.
You’ll provide day to day guidance, support, and
hands on leadership, making sure the right people are in the right places, and
the work is delivered to ’ll also play a key role in linking the
day to day grind with the bigger picture: safety, quality, customer
satisfaction, and Northpower’s long term success.
Experience:
-Proven experience working on overhead lines and pole structures
-Strong understanding of electrical network construction and maintenance
-Confidence operating equipment up to 33kV
-A mindset that prioritises safety above all else — and the authority to stop work if something’s not right
-Leadership qualities — you're someone who steps up and sets the tone
-The ability to complete paperwork and reports accurately (we don’t love admin, but we know it matters)
