Libraries and Council Services assistantThe opportunity has arisen to work as a Libraries & Council Services Assistant in the Onehunga Oranga Hub, based in Onehunga Library.
This will require you to be flexible as you may need to work from other sites within the Maungakiekie-Tamaki local board.Onehunga Library is a busy library serving a diverse and vibrant community.
Our library whanau is focused on caring for each other, our community, and our environment.
We are looking for a flexible all-rounder to join and contribute as part of a high-achieving, cohesive, and dynamic team.
You will be supporting the team and contributing to the day-to-day running of the library.
As this is a customer service role, you be confident helping customers from all walks of life.Our library is open 7 days a week so flexibility around working days, including weekends, is required.
This is an 18-hour part-time position which is currently worked Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.You will have strong people skills, are flexible and adaptable to a library environment.
You have a passion for customer service with a positive attitude towards serving people of all ages and backgrounds.
