  • As one of the world's top 100 young universities and New Zealand's newest, (AUT) is a university of opportunity where all students with talent and potential have the chance to succeed.

We are a socially driven university, with equity and excellence at the heart of our purpose and actions.

We offer a stimulating teaching and research environment, characterised by strong connections to government, business, and industry.

AUT has more than 26,000 students and over 4,000 staff, primarily based at our three Auckland campuses.

Our Management, Technology and Organisation (MTO) department is part of AUT's forward-thinking Business School.

We pride ourselves on the work-integrated learning opportunities offered to students, and our overall reputation for academic excellence and impactful research.

AUT's Business School holds two of the most prestigious global business school accreditations: EQUIS and AACSB, attesting to the quality of its programmes.

Embracing practice-led and research-informed approaches to teaching, we enhance the student experience by relying on a wide range of expertise, increasingly focusing on cross-disciplinary work.

Our supply chain management discipline consists of a dynamic team of academics actively engaged in research and passionate about teaching.

We have a Supply Chain minor in the undergraduate programme, a growing CIPS-accredited Professional Master's, and a PhD programme.

Colleagues in the discipline are engaged in research areas related to emerging technologies and digital transformation, supply chain sustainability and circular economy, network optimisation, as well as strategic procurement and buyer-supplier innovation, among others.
