Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We are seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood to join our School of Education and Social Practice.
In this role, you will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervise research theses, and undertake supervision/assessment of student teachers on practicum.
You will also be encouraged to pursue your own research within early childhood and to contribute to collaborative projects across the school, faculty, and university
Youll join a collegial and research-active Early Years Hub, home to initiatives that promote innovative teaching and impactful scholarship in early childhood, such as the Early Childhood Seminar Series, the The First Years Ngā Tau Tuatahi, and the .
This is a full time (40 hours per week), permanent position.
The remuneration range for this role is between $97,831 - $142,883, depending on skills and experience.

He kōrero mōu | About you
Youll be a registered and fully certificated teacher (NZ Teaching Council) with a PhD in education, psychology, or a related field.
Youll bring experience teaching in higher education, a developing research profile, and a strong commitment to research-led early childhood teaching.
