We are looking for a highly competent and relational learning support coordinator / SENCo. This is a great opportunity for a registered teacher with a passion for supporting students to thrive, to join our innovative and positive team of educators at Ngākōroa School.

This is a 0.6 FTTE role with 1MU for leadership of the kaiāwhina team.

There is also potential to be full-time when paired with literacy and mathematics intervention groups and/or CRT.

You’ll be joining a kura grounded in our vision and values, where relationships, collaboration, and continuous improvement are at the heart of all we do.

We’re looking for someone who demonstrates a strong understanding of inclusive education, builds authentic relationships with whānau, and has proven skills in coordinating support systems that make a genuine difference for students.

The applicant will demonstrate a commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive practice, and an understanding of Te Ao Māori and Tikanga Māori.

You will be supported by a strong, connected, and caring leadership team who value people first.

School visits encouraged.
