Our Learning & Development team is looking for an experienced L&D Advisor with a passion for digital and AI capability building .

You’ll play a key role in embedding AI and digital skills across PwC NZ – from foundational upskilling for all staff, to supporting leaders and teams to confidently use new tools and ways of working.

This is a hands-on and forward-looking role where you’ll design, deliver, and coach others to deliver learning that helps our people get the most from AI and digital technologies.

You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, champions, and stakeholders across the firm to build confidence and capability in this fast-evolving space.

While your primary focus will be on AI and digital capability, you’ll also contribute to broader L&D projects and strategic priorities as business needs evolve – supporting the team’s wider mission to help our people grow and thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and functional leaders to identify AI and digital learning needs and opportunities.

  • Design and deliver high-quality learning experiences – from workshops and digital modules to peer-led learning and coaching sessions.

  • Facilitate AI learning sessions and support others to do the same (e.g. train-the-trainer and coaching the coaches).

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of PwC NZ’s AI and digital upskilling strategy.

  • Collaborate with our global PwC network to adapt and localise digital learning content and frameworks.

  • Manage and promote learning pathways through our LMS and Digital Academy.

  • Support other firm-wide L&D initiatives and strategic priorities as needs arise.

  • Stay current with emerging trends in AI, digital capability building, and learning design.

Skills and experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Learning & Development role, ideally with exposure to digital or technology capability initiatives.

  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with confidence leading both in-person and virtual sessions.

  • Experience designing blended or digital learning solutions.

  • Working knowledge of learning systems (LMS) and learning analytics.

  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, particularly AI and digital tools for learning.

  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Experience in a professional services environment is desirable, but not essential.
