Job Title: Lead Lifeguard – West Wave Pool and Leisure Centre
We have a Lead Lifeguard role available for West Wave Pool and Leisure Centre in Henderson.
Our pool and leisure facilities are more popular than ever, and as Lead Lifeguard for our Leisure Centres, you will play a key part in ensuring that all customers not only have a fantastic experience but a safe one.
This is a Permanent 32 hour position working the shifts below:
As our centre opens 7 days a week, the ability to work early and late shifts, as well as weekends, is crucial in this role.
Joining an energetic and passionate team, you’ll be a keen team player with a flexible approach and be able to take initiative to help drive a positive safety culture.
The first step in becoming a lifeguard for Auckland Council is to be able to pass this swim test.

You’ll need to hold a current First Aid Certificate as well as a Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate.
Our centres operate 7 days a week; the ability to work early and late shifts, as well as weekends, is crucial in this role.
Our Centres play a fundamental role in our goal to Get Active Your Way.
