Due to an internal promotion, we are currently recruiting for an Irrigation Technician to join our high-performing Auckland Toru Sports Turf Team.As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for:Maintaining, programming and marking underground irrigation systemsMonitoring soil moisture levels to correctly adjust irrigation cyclesIdentifying damaged turf areas, assessing for turf pests and diseasesScoping and planning work prior to commencement, arranging parts from suppliersIdentifying tasks required to be completed internally or via a trade person or specialist contractorWe are looking for someone who:Has extensive experience maintaining, programming and marking underground irrigation systemsHas the ability and willingness to interpret and follow instructions and meet the required standards and deadlinesIs well organised and highly capable of multi-tasking and carrying out other general dutiesCommitted to a health and safety focused cultureWhat We Can Offer:As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with other professionals, gain further knowledge and experience, and develop your career in greenspace maintenance.
We offer regular work hours, a performance-based wage that is reviewed annually, and an annual $300 wellness benefit (after qualifying period).
