This is a rare and career-defining opportunity to help build the foundations of Aotearoa New Zealand’s newest medical school.
The New Zealand Graduate School of Medicine (NZGSM) at the University of Waikato is reimagining medical education for a modern, equitable, and digitally connected future.
As the Lead – Faculty Educational Development (Medical Education), you will provide academic leadership across the Medical School to strengthen teaching capability and innovation.
You’ll develop and lead faculty programmes that support clinical and academic educators, embed simulation and digital-first learning, and ensure excellence in curriculum design and delivery.
You will play a key role in shaping the School’s academic culture — one that is collaborative, inclusive, and grounded in te Tiriti o Waitangi.
This is a part-time (0.4FTE), fixed-term position for two years.
