Lead Engineer - Zero Trust Architecture (Cyber Security Office)Plan, execute and deliver the ZTA project on time and within budgetTrack milestones, tasks, and deliverables to ensure the project stays on trackIdentify potential problems, develop mitigation strategies, and address issues proactivelyKeep sponsors and other stakeholders informed about project progress and any potential issuesMaintain project documentations (project plans, progress, decisions and any changes or issues)Implement migration from LAN and VPN-based access to ZTNA, ensuring minimal disruption to business operationsEnforce security policies aligned with industry standards (e.g. NIST, ISO *****)Conduct training campaigns to support the transitionMonitor adherence and policy effectivenessPosition OverviewThis is a 2 year Direct Contract roleRole & ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute and deliver the ZTA project on time and within budgetTrack milestones, tasks, and deliverables to ensure the project stays on trackIdentify potential problems, develop mitigation strategies, and address issues proactivelyKeep sponsors and other stakeholders informed about project progress and any potential issuesMaintain project documentations (project plans, progress, decisions and any changes or issues)Implement ZTA componentsImplement migration from LAN and VPN-based access to ZTNA, ensuring minimal disruption to business operationsEnforce security policies aligned with industry standards (e.g. NIST, ISO *****)Conduct training campaigns to support the transitionMonitor adherence and policy effectivenessRequirementsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related fieldAt least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or infrastructure managementExperience in leading large-scale security transformation programmesTechnical Expertise:Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture principles and frameworksExperienced in identity management, network segmentation, and secure access modelsKnowledge of cloud and hybrid security models (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Functional and Leadership Skills:Strong project management skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience in managing cross-functional teams and resolving complex technical issuesProblem-Solving and Decision-Making:Ability to implement complex security solutionsStrong analytical skills and a strategic mindset to balance security with business needsExperience in handling high-stakes security incidents and operational challengesCompliance and Risk Management:Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO *****) and regulatory requirements.Experience in developing and enforcing security policies across a large enterpriseWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
