We're seeking a very talented full-stack Lead Developer to join our hard-working Wellington team to deliver award-winning web development services.
As the Lead Developer you will have the opportunity to not only mentor our dev teams - both bespoke and support but importantly also day to day jump on the tools and be part of a full-stack development team, ensuring we're delivering quality outcomes for our clients.What's important to us?

Knowledge of or experience in Agile development methodologies would stand you in good stead.Key Responsibilities:Work with other business leaders to facilitate the decision-making process both inside and outside of the teamAdvocating, updating, and developing the technical direction of the projectsStrong communication skills that translate the ideas of business leaders and end users into technical requirements that the development team understands and implementsLead, coach, mentor and monitor all Somar Digital developers in the art of great codeIdentify user and system requirements for new websites and applicationsUtilise your experience with AI tools and technologies to improve internal tooling and provide innovative solutions for our clientsWork with our wide range of clients on support requests as well as bespoke projectsUnderstand client needs and know how to create the tools to manage themUnderstand, adhere and communicate all coding standardsUnderstand technical and functional design requirements, code and test technical solutionsDesign technical solutions in collaboration with other developers on time and on budgetWork on new product features, enhancement to existing features and customer migrationWhat's in it for you to come work with us here at Somar Digital?!
