The opportunity

Our Enterprise Portfolio Management Office has an exciting opportunity for someone to join the EPMO team as Lead Advisor Business Case & Benefits.

Benefits realisation is one of the top 3 priorities for the EPMO over the next 2-3 years, so there is a great opportunity to lead the design and implementation of an improved process and ensure quality realisation of benefits!

This Benefit Lead role is to develop and own the business case process and benefits realisation framework for the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of EPMO, you would support quality business case development as well as overseeing the delivery of related training capability programmes.

You will drive the provision of quality advice to ensure realistic and deliverable benefits are identified, work to ensure benefits are realised and that overall benefits delivery is improving year on year.

To be able to hit the ground running, you will ideally have strong business analysis and / or project management experience, together with knowledge of Better Business Case and Benefits realisation.

You will have ideally worked on:

  • Business case writing and /or reviews
  • Benefits definition and benefit realisation delivery
  • The implementation of change into the organisation
  • Developing and the delivery of related training

A strong influencer and communicator, you will build constructive relationships and be comfortable interacting at all levels including the executive space.

The Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) provides Portfolio, Project Investment and Benefits management guidance across the organisation, and sets and owns the Investment Delivery Framework (IDF) for the Group.

It monitors and reports all project delivery, manages Sentient, and is responsible for portfolio management of internal facing projects and programmes (including ICT and Our Strategy projects).
