As a Knife Hand - Meat Processor, you'll be part of a fast-paced team delivering high-quality meat cuts to specification.
You'll bring precision, speed, and consistency to every task, supporting the coordination of on-time delivery of protein products from our Waikato Butchery Processing Plant.
Key responsibilities include:
Cutting meat to separate fat, tissue, and bone
Performing specialised cuts and deboning
Wrapping, packing, and labelling meat products
Operating machinery and multi-station deboning lines
Preparing red emat/Poultry to specification
Performing quality inspections and supporting food hygiene compliance
Cleaning and maintaining equipment
Assisting with heavy lifting and ingredient batching
Ensuring stock rotation and proper storage
Supporting smooth production processes and traceability

You're self-motivated, physically fit, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You take pride in your work and bring a strong commitment to food safety and operational excellence.
You'll ideally have:
A trade qualification or relevant butchery experience
3–4 years of hands-on industry experience
Proven skills in beef/chicken boning or slicing
A stable, referenced work history
Physical strength and stamina
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
A commitment to safety, hygiene, and teamwork
