Are you an experienced Kitchen and Interior Designer who is passionate about design and delivering outstanding customer care?
LivSpaceis a national interiors supply and installation business delivering end-to-end solutions to the residential and construction sector.
LivSpace is part of Carters Building Supplies- New Zealand's leading trade supplier with over 150 years of industry trust.
Due to growing business demand, LivSpace is expanding its operation into the Canterburyregion and is seeking an experienced Kitchen/Interior Designer to create custom-made kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and other tailored interior spaces for CARTERS' trade building partners, Group Home customers and homeowners.
Our designers collaborate with CARTERS' Account Managers who have established relationships and connections across our national branch network.
As a designer based inChristchurch you will work closely with customers to understand their preferences and requirements to design and generate bespoke kitchen and interior designs for pricing and production.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Kitchen and Interior Design, who is proficient in computer aided design programmes and has experience designing kitchens across a wide price range.

The key functions for this role includes:
Working closely with clients to understand their requirements and preferences to design kitchens and interior spaces tailored to their needs
Creating functional designs that are both innovative and aesthetically pleasing
Prepare detailed plans and specifications, select materials and finishes that are appropriate for the application and client preferences
Working with the Project Manager to convert consultations into sales, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Working with suppliers and the manufacturing team to ensure successful execution of designs
Deliver an outstanding client experience, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the design to install process
Skills & Experience:
Competent user of design software - ideally proficient in Winner - experience with IX design would be a bonus
Knowledge of NZ kitchen design standards and building legislation
Technically capable, understands products and installation
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Organised, detailed with exceptional time management, multitasking abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
