Based at University of Canterbury (UC) campusThis is a fantastic opportunity for an early career recruiter or experienced coordinator to develop their recruitment skills within a large organisation offering full training and coaching.What You Will DoSupported by our experienced team you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment within a diverse portfolio for our key stakeholders.
No day will be the same and you will utilise your strong organisational skills by juggling multiple priorities and timeframes.
Tasks will include:Ensuring documentation and approval processes are followedUndertaking detailed recruitment briefs with Hiring ManagersCrafting adverts and managing advertising channelsArranging interviews - calendar invites, room booksPre-screening and interviewing.We work collaboratively, so you will support other recruitment team members with recruitment assignments and tasks.You must be curious, show initiative and not be afraid to ask questions.
You will be able to demonstrate strong organisation skills.You will also have:1-2 years' experience managing end-to-end recruitment assignments, including advertising, screening, interviewingexperience with SnapHire or Workday or an applicant tracking system, would be advantageousexperience in a high-paced environment, ensuring compliance with internal processes and NZ employment legislationstakeholder engagement - coaching managers to improve recruitment capabilityadvanced technical skills using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to prepare accurate documentation and reports.If you thrive in fast-paced environment including building instant rapport with diverse people while delivering an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring managers, this is the role for you.We recognise and value people as our most precious resource and the mahi undertaken in the People and Culture Team is the catalyst for positive changes in our organisation.
