We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join our Jet Maintenance Operations Centre Team.
Our Maintenance Operations Centre Engineers play a pivotal part in keeping our fleet safely flying and are responsible for monitoring Air New Zealand's on-line fleet operation from a maintenance perspective and are accountable for ensuring compliance is maintained by initiating outcomes to achieve this.This role will work a rotating shift roster based in the Air New Zealand Integrated Operations Centre in Auckland.
We are on the hunt for an Engineer who enjoys the unpredictability and challenge of the operational environment.Reporting to the MOC Duty Managers you will contribute to OTP by providing proactive maintenance solutions.
The role requires collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure real and potential day of operation issues are identified and managed to achieve maximum availability and utilisation of company aircraft (on-line and off-line).
The responsibility of the role also extends to managing the maintenance and defect rectification of Air New Zealand's fleet during on-line operation.Your knowledge, experience and initiative will be key to solving problems that present day to day.
You will also be someone who has excellent attention to detail, communicates in a clear and concise manner, has excellent time management, can multi-task, juggle priorities and stay calm under pressure.To be successful in this role you will ideally have:Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship or related trade equivalentAircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence with Mechanical and/or Avionic approvalsCertification privileges on A320, 787 and 777 Aircraft (2 or more preferred)Knowledge of NZ Civil Aviation Authority and other applicable regulationsLine Station or Line Maintenance experience (preferred).
