Urgent! IT Asset and Procurement Manager Job Opening In Hamilton – Now Hiring University of Waikato
Join our Service Operations team and take the lead in managing ICT procurement and asset management including hardware and software lifecycle across the University.
You’ll lead a small, specialist team ensuring our technology assets are well-managed, cost-effective, and aligned with organisational needs.
From overseeing annual desktop refresh programmes to maintaining technology standards and supplier relationships, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our systems current and efficient.
You’ll also support ITS leadership with procurement processes, contract reviews, and vendor performance management.
If you’re a proactive leader who enjoys balancing strategy with hands-on delivery, this role offers variety, influence, and the opportunity to shape how technology supports our people and priorities.
Salary will be in the range of $112,801 to $124,038 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.
