OverviewIntermediate to Principal Geotechnical or Civil Engineer – TaurangaJoin a specialist team making a real impact across Aotearoa's built and natural environment.
This highly respected consultancy is known for its technical expertise and collaborative culture, delivering smart, sustainable solutions across geotechnical, civil and structural engineering, environmental science, water, waste, coastal and port engineering, tunnelling, and infrastructure development.With a strong pipeline of work and long-standing clients, the Tauranga team is growing and looking to bring on two experienced engineers – one with a geotechnical focus and one with a civil background.
Depending on your experience, you could step in at intermediate, senior or principal level.
Responsibilities
Foundation and site development for residential, commercial and industrial structures
Land development and infrastructure projects across the Bay of Plenty
Roading and earthworks design
Landslip assessment and remediation
Port and reclamation development
Coastal assessments and mitigation
Seismic assessment and resilience design
Solid waste and landfill design

Qualifications
A BE Civil or equivalent
New Zealand design experience in either geotechnical or civil engineering
Strong technical skills with a willingness to collaborate across disciplines
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
A proactive mindset and the ability to mentor or support junior team members
A commitment to delivering great outcomes for clients and communities
