What we are looking for

A Planner with 2+ years experience submitting resource consents to local authorities or processing for authorities is highly desirable.

You’ll get to work on a range of interesting projects, prepare resource consent applications, and engage with clients, councils, and other consultants.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team of planners, engineers and surveyors who support each other and enjoy what they do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare resource consent applications and manage the process through to approval.

  • Collaborate with project teams and external consultants to achieve project objectives.

  • Provide planning advice and solutions for land development projects.

  • Conduct research and analysis to support planning applications and strategies.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with local planning regulations and environmental policies.

About You:
You are an experienced planner with a passion for land development and sustainability.

You are detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player

  • Bachelor’s degree in Resource and Environmental Planning (or a related field).

  • Two plus years experience submitting resource consents to local authorities or processing for authorities is highly desirable.

  • A sound knowledge of the Resource Management Act and how it relates in a local context
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • A passion to contribute to innovative land development projects.
