Intermediate Mechanical Engineer – Building ServicesTe whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Hamilton.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation in mechanical design who is ready to take the next step in their career.
You'll work on a variety of projects across sectors, contributing to the delivery of high-quality mechanical solutions while developing your leadership and project coordination skills.Join a team of passionate engineers and be part of a wider network of over 400 Building Services professionals across the Asia Pacific.
You'll be supported by senior engineers and technical leaders who are committed to your growth and success.Ko wai koe | About youYou are a motivated and collaborative mechanical engineer with 3-7 years of experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) design, ideally within a consulting environment.
You enjoy solving complex problems, working in multi-disciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of innovative and sustainable building solutions.You BringExperience delivering mechanical HVAC designs from concept through to construction.Familiarity with tools such as Carrier E-20, IES, Bluebeam, and Revit.A good understanding of relevant industry standards such as CIBSE or ASHRAE.Knowledge of New Zealand building codes and seismic design requirements (preferred).
