Hawkes Bay Prison Intelligence Analyst Secondment – December 2025 to 1 September 2026

The Intelligence Analyst position operates within the Corrections Intelligence framework, delivering nationally consistent products across the Department.

This role is an integral part of the intelligence team based at Hawkes Bay Regional Prison.

Corrections Intelligence works proactively to provide quality actionable intelligence that consistently provides decision advantage to support safe prisons and safe communities.

* The credibility, integrity and personality to establish and maintain effective relationships internal and external to Ara Poutama Aotearoa
* An understanding of the strategic, operational and tactical use of intelligence
* High level competency in problem solving and the ability to think critically
* Strong oral and written communications skills
* The ability to deliver impromptu and planned briefings to a range of stakeholder groups
* Possessing an ability to evaluate information with a sense of urgency, you will be vigilant in ensuring the integrity of our operations by elevating concerns before issues arise.
