Our client is in GROWTH MODE Our client is a nation-wide ultra high pressure water blasting and industrial services company looking for their next SUPER STAR!
If you are looking to pivot into a new industry and have the right ATTITUDE we need you !
You: This is a hands-on role and requires someone with a mechanical mindset with the ability to work hard with endurance have good time management skills reliable above it all you MUST be FLEIXBLE with your working hours Be physically fit to keep up with demand You will work closely with the Team Leaders to ensure customer expectations on-site are achieved to standard whilst maintaining and adhering to strict health and safety requirements.You must be prepared to undertake out of town and weekend work when requiredYou must be drug free and alcohol free during work hours and be prepared for random and post-incident testingYou will need to demonstrate a can-do attitude, willingness to learn and the ambition to grow and progressMust have the ability to work unsupervised or always cooperate and assist within a team environment MUST have minimum class 1 license but essentially looking for class 2/4 drivers What is on offer: Competitive hourly rates with an average $70-$90K+ annual earnings Overtime (over 40 hours) and multiple allowances Minimum 35 hour Full Time contract Great team environment Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Drive NZ Class 2/4+ vehicles to worksites Operate truck-mounted hydroblasting equipment Be able to handle operations on the Cougar Pro A**** Jetlance using pressures from *****psi to *****psi with low volumes of water Be able to handle operations on the Woma 150M Jetlance using pressures from *****psi to *****psi at medium volumes of water Be able to handle operations on Hydroexcavation and Vacuum Loading equipment.
Requirements / Experience / Skillset: Able and be available to travel out of town as required to meet work demand Able and available to work long days and be paid well for it Need to actually enjoy physically demanding work and be physically fit Hold or be prepared to train for Site Safe, Confined Space, First Aid, Heights Have a desire to develop yourself and work hard to progress to higher roles Zero tolerance Drug and Alcohol - regular and random testing Class 2/4 licences required Need to have some basic mechanical knowledge and experience The job is based in Auckland but will require work travel around the country to meet customer demand.
